The Center Ice Foundation of Central Ohio and the Prowler Hockey Association are thrilled to announce the inaugural season of the 14U Junior Prowlers Hockey Club!

Played in Central Ohio over warm July & August weekend (M/S: July 25-26; PW/B/HS/A: August 1-2), this 3 vs. 3 cross-ice format tournament is the perfect opportunity to throw a team together and hit the ice in the off-season!

100% of the proceeds from this tournament will go towards the Center Ice Foundation of Central Ohio's Capital Campaign to build an ice rink in Pickerington.

614 Hockey, a Central Ohio-based apparel retailer, will sell limited-edition ball caps & tees, with proceeds benefitting the Center Ice Foundation.

Best known for their partnership with Columbus Blue Jacket, Cam Atkinson, 614 Hockey is about representing the Columbus hockey lifestyle. Their mission is to have stylish and affordable apparel for everyone.

PICKERINGTON ICE-RINK SUPPORTERS’ NONPROFIT STATUS APPROVED

In hockey, common battle cries are “one shift at a time” and “one game at a time.”

For the Center Ice Foundation of Central Ohio, the task of raising $8 million to bring an indoor facility with two regulation-sized ice rinks to Pickerington has been more like “one skate in front of the other.”

When Violet Township officials didn’t include an ice rink in plans for a $46 million community center -- a project that ultimately was soundly rejected by 82% of voters in May -- a group of parents formed the foundation with hopes of getting a hockey facility built by raising money privately.

GROUP STARTS FUNDRAISING FOR PICKERINGTON INDOOR ICE RINK

A group of youth hockey parents and other local supporters have begun an $8-million-fundraising campaign to bring an indoor hockey facility to Pickerington.
